International AIDS Conference 2012
The world’s largest HIV/AIDS conference is happening in our own back yard July 22-27 in Washington DC!
Every two years, people living with HIV/AIDS, activists, service providers, scientists, policymakers, and elected officials from around the globe come together for the International AIDS Conference (IAC). For the first time in 22 years, the conference will be held in the United States this summer.
Attracting about 30,000 people, the IAC is the largest conference on any health issue in the world. The latest research is presented, people with AIDS give presentations on what’s they’re doing to end AIDS in their communities, and there are plenty of rallies, marches and actions!
Housing Works is coming to DC for IAC! We will be participating in several key events there, and we hope you will join or support us.
