Clean Out Give Back: Housing Works' Donation Challenge

Clean Out Give Back: Housing Works' Donation Challenge

At Housing Works, we tend to do things a little differently. We stage “in-your-face” civil disobediences, we form rallies at City Hall, and we advocate not only for those living with HIV/AIDS but also those affected by homelessness.

We fund this great advocacy and healthcare through you and your donations. With every great item you donate to Housing Works—clothing, furniture, household items, cookware, jewelry, accessories, books, and more—we then sell at our Thrift Shops to help the thousands of New Yorkers affected by HIV/AIDS and homelessness.

This April, we’re challenging you to help us collect a record-setting 14,000 bags of high-quality clothing and accessories to help fund our mission of ending the dual crises of HIV/AIDS and homelessness.

We are always on the lookout for great dresses, blouses, men’s and women’s knits, and men’s shirts and shoes, in addition to other items.

So what are you waiting for? Jump start your spring cleaning and pledge to help us affect the lives of thousands of New Yorkers living with HIV/AIDS.

You can take the pledge by visiting our “Clean out Give Back” webpage, where you can share your pledge on Twitter and Facebook.

As an added bonus, we will be randomly selecting 30 pledges to win a $50 Housing Works gift card. Your pledge counts as an entry, and we’ll announce our winners on April 30th!

Don’t delay, save a life today!
