The 340B Program enables healthcare providers to stretch limited resources, ensuring more comprehensive care for underserved populations. At Housing Works, 340B allows us to purchase essential medications at reduced rates, making life-saving treatments accessible to those facing financial barriers. Protecting and strengthening this program by ensuring enforcement of current statue is critical to maintaining affordable care and improving health outcomes for vulnerable communities. Our campaign calls for increased federal enforcement of manufactures and fair rebate models that preserve and expand 340B’s reach, recognizing its essential role in health equity. Congress must pass the SUSTAIN Act, which supports and strengthens the 340B program by increasing transparency and limiting manufacturer restrictions.
