By addressing the interconnected issues of substance use, mental health, and HIV, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Minority AIDS Initiative is integral to comprehensive strategies aimed at ending the HIV epidemic and improving the health of our communities. We call on Congress to increase funding for this initiative in this year’s federal budget.
