The surge of anti-LGBTQIA laws worldwide is an alarming assault on fundamental human rights, targeting individuals solely for their identity and self-expression. These oppressive laws fuel discrimination, incite violence, and entrench damaging stereotypes, with some imposing lifelong prison sentences or even the death penalty on LGBTQIA individuals simply for existing. Such inhumane policies have no place in any society. We will continue to support international solidarity efforts against these homophobic laws.
