Housing Works calls for continued support for the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), a critical initiative in the global fight against HIV/AIDS. PEPFAR has saved millions of lives by providing essential healthcare services and resources in the world’s most affected regions. Sustained PEPFAR funding is essential to continue the global progress toward ending the HIV/AIDS epidemic. We call for Congress to reauthorize PEPFAR without onerous restrictions on which programs can be supported.
